Open Public Call for Excellent Projects of Young Researchers and Scientists in the Early Stage of Career – PROMIS 2023

The Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia has opened a public call for scientific research projects within the Program for Excellent Projects of Young Researchers and Scientists in the Early Stage of Career – PROMIS 2023.

Young researchers and scientists in the early stages of their careers will have the opportunity to develop new ideas through the implementation of basic and applied research in all scientific fields. PROMIS 2023 is intended for excellent projects of young researchers and scientists in the early stage of their careers, up to 7 years after finishing their PhD.

The objectives of the PROMIS 2023 program are: empowering young PhDs to manage projects, strengthening the professional capacities of young researchers and scientists at the beginning of their careers, as well as involving excellent young researchers in scientific research work.

The objectives of the Program include training young researchers to apply for research and development projects at the national and international level, especially in the European Union, creating new project teams for excellent scientific research and supporting the scientific research work of the young academic community that will have an impact and significance for social development and the economy.

All accredited scientific research organizations in Serbia can apply for the Public Call.

The total budget of the PROMIS 2023 program is 4 million euros. The funds are provided from the budget of the Republic of Serbia and through the Serbia Accelerating Innovation and Growth Entrepreneurship Project (SAIGE Project), a partnership project of the Republic of Serbia, the European Union, and the World Bank.

The maximum budget per project is EUR 150,000.

The duration of the project is 24 months.

Project proposals are submitted in electronic form through the Portal of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia.

The public call for applications for scientific research projects has been open since May 8, 2023 and will last until July 10, 2023, until 3 p.m. CET.
