Science Fund Participates in Meeting Dedicated to Strengthening Cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and Republika Srpska

Acting Director of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr. Darija Kisić, attended a meeting in Banja Luka between the delegations of the Republic of Serbia and Republika Srpska, led by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr. Đuro Macut.

During the meeting, discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in the fields of science, higher education, healthcare, economy, and infrastructure, as well as on the implementation of joint development initiatives and the launch of new projects. Particular attention was given to infrastructure connectivity and projects of strategic importance.

Special emphasis was placed on strengthening cooperation in science and higher education through closer collaboration among universities, research institutions, and researchers, as well as through the development of joint research projects. It was highlighted that investment in knowledge and science represents one of the key prerequisites for long-term development.

For the Science Fund, the meeting provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and explore possibilities for further enhancing regional scientific cooperation, while supporting initiatives aimed at developing the research and innovation ecosystem.
