The Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia has opened a Public Call for scientific research projects within the Proof of Concept Program.
The Proof of Concept Program is designed to support activities at the stage of turning research outputs into commercial or socially valuable proposals.
Applicants are expected to define a hypothesis (concept) that has arisen from previous activities and developments that can create a product, process or technology that could be marketed. This Program is there to provide insight into whether the concept described can have a practical application. Every team with Project accepted for funding will engage its own business adviser from the list provided and published by the SF.
The objectives of the Proof of Concept Program are as follows:
1. To support activities at the stage of turning research outputs towards commercial or socially valuable propositions.
2. To strengthen the pipeline of commercialization-ready projects.
3. To promote the importance of intellectual property (IP) in scientific research.
Through this Program, the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia aims to support projects in all fields of science and technology. There are no pre-defined topics for projects within the Program.
All accredited scientific research organizations in Serbia can apply for the Public Call.
Project applications for this public call must be submitted exclusively in electronic form, no later than September 15, at 3 p.m. Central European time, by filling out the project application through the Portal of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia.
