Science Fund organized an event in the Botanical Garden ”Jevremovac” on the occasion of the opening of two new programs that will finance research and scientific projects, and the presentation of young scientists and their projects that provide significant solutions in the field of ecology and environmental protection.
We would like to thank the dear guests with whom we celebrated today’s event – Head of the Delegation and the Ambassador of EU to Serbia H.E. Emanuele Giaufret, World Bank Country Manager for Serbia Nicola Pontara, State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia Prof. Dr. Marijana Dukic-Mijatovic, representatives of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, representatives of the embassies, respected academics, rectors, faculty deans, institute directors, representatives of the scientific community, business and media.
The Green Program of Cooperation between Science and Industry will provide support for scientists to carry out applied research that will be important for the economy and affect the reduction of environmental pollution. 3.5 million € have been allocated for this program from the budget of the Republic of Serbia.
The second program, the PRISMA Program, will be implemented through six subprograms, within which researchers can propose topics from all fields of science. The total budget of this program is 25 million €, which is financed from the budget of the Republic of Serbia and from international sources – “IPA” funds of the European Union and “SAIGE” Project of the World Bank.
Public calls will be opened on June 30, 2022, at 12 pm.
