The Acting Director of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, Professor Nenad Filipović, PhD, visited Montenegro, where in Podgorica he met with representatives of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, and the Innovation Fund of Montenegro.
During the meetings with institutional leaders, discussions focused on opportunities for cooperation and the development of joint projects aimed at strengthening collaboration between researchers from the two countries and supporting research activities across various scientific fields. The meetings also addressed the current activities of the institutions and their future plans, with particular emphasis on international cooperation and the development of bilateral programs between Serbia and Montenegro.
In a separate meeting, Professor Filipović met with Academician Ljubiša Stanković, President of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts, and Academician Predrag Miranović, Secretary General of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts. The discussion focused on strengthening institutional cooperation and advancing scientific exchange between the academies.
The Acting Director also visited the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, where further opportunities for collaboration in innovation, research development, and support for scientific entrepreneurship were discussed.
