Meeting between the Acting Director of the Science Fund and the President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce

Acting Director of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr. Daria Kisić, held discussions with the President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Marko Čadež, on opportunities to deepen cooperation between the two institutions, with a particular focus on strengthening the link between science and industry.

During the meeting, new models of cooperation were considered that, through digitalisation and artificial intelligence, would enable the application of scientific research in business operations. This is expected to contribute to improving the performance of companies and represents one of the key aspects of the development of the domestic economy.

Opportunities were also discussed for connecting the scientific community with domestic companies, encouraging the practical application of scientific research in industry, and creating a unified knowledge base that would provide Serbian companies with access to important information.

The continued development of opportunities for systematic and institutional support for cooperation between science and industry represents one of the foundations for strengthening the Serbian economy. The creation of scientific, innovative, and practically applicable solutions that can be used in business is an important step towards further development and increased competitiveness of the domestic economy.
