The Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation issued a Public Call for the appointment of members of the Scientific Council of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia on 9 June 2025. The nomination process was conducted in accordance with the established deadlines, and all applications submitted by Tuesday, 24 June 2025, that were timely, complete, and compliant with the requirements were considered during the decision-making process.
Following the completion of the selection procedure, Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, Academician Bela Balint, issued the Decision on the Appointment of Members of the Scientific Council of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia for its new term.
The newly appointed members of the Scientific Council are:

- Dr Branislav Simonović, Institute of General and Physical Chemistry
- Professor Zoran Marković, PhD, State University of Novi Pazar
- Professor Aleksandar Jovović, PhD, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade
- Professor Boris Dumnić, PhD, Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad
- Professor Vladimir R. Đukić, PhD, Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade
- Assistant Professor Olivera Ivanov, PhD, Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad
- Professor Božidar Milošević, PhD, Faculty of Agriculture “Lešak”, University of Priština with Temporary Headquarters in Kosovska Mitrovica
- Professor Aco Janićijević, PhD, Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade
- Professor Patrik Drid, PhD, Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, University of Novi Sad

The newly appointed Scientific Council will contribute to the strategic development of the Science Fund and support the advancement of scientific excellence, research quality, and innovation within the Republic of Serbia.
