Acting Director of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr. Daria Kisić, held a meeting today in Novi Sad with researchers, during which discussions focused on achieved results, past cooperation with the scientific community, as well as the Fund’s plans and activities for the upcoming period.
The meeting, organised in cooperation with the Science and Technology Park Novi Sad, was attended by the Chair of the Science Fund’s Board of Directors, Dr. Ivica G. Đalović, as well as members of the Board of Directors and the Scientific Council, Prof. Dr. Bojan Tubić and Prof. Dr. Patrick Drid.
Presenting the Science Fund’s activities and results, Prof. Dr. Kisić emphasised that the Fund is dedicated to the development of science and the advancement of research activities in Serbia, and that the state recognises the importance of investing in science through the allocation of significant budgetary funds for research projects.
The meeting also covered the Fund’s ongoing programmes, the project evaluation process, the selection and work of reviewers, as well as the possibility of opening a Science Fund office in Novi Sad.
Acting Director of the Science Fund, Prof. Dr. Daria Kisić, expressed her gratitude to the researchers for sharing their experiences and putting forward numerous suggestions and ideas during the meeting, noting that this reflects their strong commitment to science and research activities.
